Metal Master is a flat-rolled steel service center. Fabrication and sheet metal shops buy coil, slit mults, sheet, and blanks from us already sized for their nest, so material goes from the truck to the laser or brake without a secondary cut.
To be clear about what we are: Metal Master does not cut, weld, machine, or fabricate finished parts. We process flat-rolled coil — slitting, cut-to-length, blanking, prepainting, embossing — and supply that material to the shops that do the fabricating. Hot-rolled (HR)
Specs →Structural brackets, frames, base plates, and heavy-gauge forming where surface finish isn't critical.
Hot-rolled pickled & oiled (HRPO)
Specs →Scale-free surface for welded and painted assemblies — cleaner cuts and better weld quality than mill-scale HR.
Cold-rolled (CR)
Specs →Tight gauge tolerance and a smooth paintable surface for enclosures, panels, and visible components.
Galvanized (G30–G235)
Specs →Corrosion resistance without a post-fabrication coating step. Common in HVAC, agricultural, and outdoor assemblies.
Galvalume
Specs →Al-Zn coating for roofing, panel, and long-life exterior work.
Pre-painted / coil-coated
Specs →Finished color out of the coil — removes the paint line and its lead time from the job entirely.

- Does Metal Master do metal fabrication?
- No. We're a flat-rolled steel service center — slitting, cut-to-length, blanking, and coating. We supply fabrication shops with material; we don't bid fabrication work against them.
- Can you cut sheet to my nest size?
- Yes. Cut-to-length sheet and blanks are produced to your dimensions rather than standard 48x96 or 60x120, which removes drop and a secondary shear operation from your floor.
- What quantities do you sell to fab shops?
- It varies by grade and gauge. Stocked material can move in partial-coil or sheet quantities; mill-direct runs are ordered in coil or truckload lots. Call with the job and we'll tell you which is faster and cheaper.
- How fast can we get material?
- Our processing floor is adjacent to Nucor Steel Crawfordsville, so inbound freight is minutes rather than days. Stocked grades often process and ship same or next day; call for a firm date on your grade.
